We went to Fairbanks, Alaska on the Thanksgiving weekend for 5 days to chase the aurora (northern lights). This is our second time that we went to see the northern lights. The first time was about 3 years ago that we went to Whitehorse, Yukon, but we didn't see it at all. So this time we went to Fairbanks and according to the statistics, there is a 80% chance to see it. Yes, we did see it this time. But the photo was from the website, we couldn't take any photos of the northern lights with our ditital camera. But anyway, we had a great time running away from home.
